I Suck at PVP Shooters
It is absolutely true. I really suck at games like Counter Strike or the Online PVP version of Battlefield or Destiny or any of the 1000's of games like it. I like playing against bots. They are more predictable and they follow a set of rules. People are chaotic in games and they tend to not even follow the rules of physics.
That is one of the may reasons I like games like Helldivers II. It is a coop game that allows you to play with your friends, where you can team up to complete the missions and goals. Also, when other join you they are usually nice, except for Karl, he is an asshole. You know who you are Karl.
First off I have to say if you have to either read the book Starship Troopers (1959) or watch the movie that came out in 1997. This game is a tongue in cheek homage to the book and to the movie. The load screen hints/messages run along the same theme. In the game you can fight in a squad of 1 to 4 soldiers. With you primary, secondary, and support weapons. You are able to use bonus materials that come in Stratagems, that you call down from your destroyer that is hovering in orbit. You can fight against Terminids, (bugs), or Automatons (robots), or Illuminates (space zombies). You can level up and upgrade your armor or weapons. You can unlock stratagems to help with your missions and upgrade your destroyer to give you bonuses in combat.
It is a fun game to while away the hours or to relieve some stress during your lunch break. I strongly recommend this game and hope that you will agree with me.
